A two page paper specifically describing works by Gauguin, Munch, and Matisse. There is no bibliography or in-text citaions. (Following are the opening sentences)

Gauguin’s masterpiece, Where Do We Come From? What Are We? Where Are We Going? is arguably his ultimate achievement. It is Gauguin-esque in the Tahitian motif of course, but has more order and more symbolism than most of his works. It is divided into thirds. On the right and left are circles with a larger oval in the center. It is easy to forget that the title is a series of questions and believe that they are Gauguin’s answers to life. That is not the case. He painted a baby and three young women. In the center he meditates over the question of what we are.
