This paper is college level covering more than seven pages, with in-text citations in Chicago Style, and a bibliography sheet with seven references.  (Following are the opening paragraphs)

The Purpose Statement of the Women of ELCA reads: As a community of women created in the image of God, called to discipleship in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to grow in faith, affirm our gifts, support one another in our callings, engage in ministry and action, and promote healing and wholeness in the church, the society, and the world (womenoftheelca.org).

Society has changed during the last half of the 20th century and the first years of the 21st. The role of women and men in our society has changed from what it once was. What once were sacrosanct boundaries defining the duties of both sexes are now blurred. Our population demographics have shifted and the urbanization of our population is near complete. We have an influx of Hispanics in the southwestern states and they are spreading rapidly north.
